Karen sent a fantastic picture yesterday. Nieta and her brother Bill. Bill is in Colorado on his annual fall visit. We always loved the conversation and stories that came during Bill's visits to Wisconsin. Oh how we miss those times together.
We have calm and sunshine after a week of cold and windy weather. This week we saw almost all the corn fields chopped. The new thing is stacking the silage on a gravel pad probably 10-15 feet high and covering it with plastic held in place by old tires. I'll try and snap a picture for you all to see this newfangled way of storing silage.
Have a great weekend everyone.
